I was unable to use the cooker yesterday, so my son and I found some scrap wood and bashed it into pieces and popped it on the barbeque.
There was some leftover takeaway pizza & chip, some frozen veggie sausages and a pan of water to make tea with.
The pizza came out well, but rather dark underneath!
The sausages came out well-done, but that’s usually how things get cooked by me - bbq or otherwise!
A few of the chips started to catch fire and I had to push them overboard to save the rest!
I did find that the wood didn’t last as long as charcoal would have done, but it get lit nice and easily.
